Higher speed, simplified maintenance

The company's existing equipment (pipe bender) used a common rack and pinion. With the development of the new pipe bender model, they aimed to increase the drive unit's speed, improve quietness, and simplify maintenance.

Solution/Countermeasure

The quietness was improved due to the smoothness of the rolling sound of the TCG Runners' roller pins. It was praised to be able to remain sensitively quiet even at high speeds.

Effects/Benefits

Adopting TCG Runners reduced noise while increasing drive unit speed (judged via senses and not numerical values). Doing so also lessened the times the equipment needed to be greased, simplifying the user experience.
