High-speed transport improves production efficiency (Gantry Loader)
Production efficiency was required to be improved by increasing the transfer speed of a gantry loader
equipped with a rack-and-pinion drive on the travel axis. However, higher operating speeds caused a significant reduction in the service life of the rack and pinion and also resulted in increased noise levels. For these reasons, we began exploring alternative solutions.

Solution/Countermeasure
Effects/Benefits
By adopting TCG runners, we were able to increase transfer speed while maintaining long service life and low noise levels. Wear on the rack and roller pinion was extremely minimal, and stopping accuracy did not degrade even after long-term operation. In addition, positioning accuracy of the loader was improved, helping to prevent defects and operational issues caused by positioning errors at stop points.
