Checking the tilt of the Cam Rack, Cam Ring, and Roller Pinion
1.Apply grease, Shinmyotan, or the like to the tooth surface of the Cam Rack to check how the Cam Rack engages with the roller pinion.
2.Engage the roller with the area where grease or Shinmyotan has been applied.
3.Check whether the Cam Rack properly engages with the roller pinion by confirming the contact width.
(refer to drawing below)
4.Adjust inclination by shim or the like when you find poor engagement between pinion and Cam Rack.
※If the contact width between the tooth and the roller is below the recommended value, uneven contact may occur, leading to localized wear.
This may cause premature failure or abnormal operation, so please exercise caution.
